Riche d'un passé historique ( fief des protestants et plus tard de l'industrie textile ), Vabre vous offre des circuits pédestres “courts” faisant découvrir ses vieilles maisons autour du Beffroi, et des circuits “longs” par les crêtes, pour découvrir Vabre à pied, à cheval ou en VTT.

Vous pourrez déguster les filets de truites fumées du Berlou, la croustade et la charcuterie authentiques fabriquées par de vrais artisans. Découvrir l'art du granit.

Vabre is a small, peaceful village in the Haut Languedoc nature reserve, nestled in a green valley and freshened up by its rivers; the “Berlou”that throws itself into the “Gijou” and then joins the “Agoût”, to the pleasure of many fishermen.

Having a rich history (bulwark of protestants and later of the textile industry), Vabre offers short walks to discover its old houses around Beffroi, and longer routes to discover the village from above, either walking, horse-riding or riding an ATB.

You can taste the smoked trout from Berlou, the pastry and the authentic porc meat products made by real craftsman. Or discover the art of granite.

The people and the small shops in Vabre will welcome you with a smile and will be happy to share the good things of life with you.
