The domaine des Jougla is a family property where generations of winegrowers succeed each other for ages. It is situated in the northwest of the department of the Hérault, on the south-facing slopes of the foothills of the Cevennes, in the heart of the area of the «appellation contrôlée Saint-Chinian».

Our opening hours from Monday to Saturday

9:00 - 12:00 a.m.

3:30 h - 6:00 p.m.

Closed on Sundays.

We grow various regional grapes: Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Syrah. This harmonic blend gives our wine its special and original character.

In the vinification cellar, the winegrower’s passion is noticeable. Here, modern and traditional methods go hand in hand. In the building, which was established in 1900, 5 centenarian casks welcome wine lovers who are curious after this place where the alchemy of wine is a living memory from the past and still amazes.

Visitors get a warm reception of the family de Jougla, winner of the «prix d’accueil familial» presented by the Chamber of Agriculture (Vitrine des terroirs d’Oc).

In the small wine cellar, situated in the cenre of the village of Prades sur Vernazobres, you can discover and taste the products of Domaine des Jougla, whether you are a real wine lover or just curious.
